One of the biggest challenges
facing today's livestock owner is
identifying, sourcing and feeding
quality forage on a consistent
basis. Many animal owners struggle
to find quality forage that can keep
the digestive systems of livestock
properly functioning, and meet a
large percentage of the animal's
daily nutrient requirements at the
lowest cost. For most owners,
finding good quality and
consistently nutritious forage has
never seemed more difficult.
Chaffhaye, a 100% hay replacement,
is designed to alleviate problems
generally associated with feeding
dry forages.
Chaffhaye is made with alfalfa
that is carefully selected and
harvested at peak leafiness to
maximize nutrients, palatability and
digestibility. Within hours of
harvest, while still fresh, the
Chaffhaye alfalfa is chopped,
lightly misted with molasses and
packed into airtight bags. This
process locks in freshness and
initiates nature's own fermentation
process. The Chaffhaye bag acts as
a natural fermentation vat, similar
to the digestive process that occurs
in the digestive tract of
livestock. The process converts raw
alfalfa into a "pre-digested" feed
with live yeasts and beneficial
bacteria not normally found in dry
hay or pellets. Chaffhaye's
abundant levels of beneficial
bacteria unlock the nutrition in the
alfalfa by breaking down the forage
into more readily digestible units.
The entire process facilitates
greater digestion in the foregut of
the animal where the bulk of
proteins, fats, starches, vitamins
and minerals are absorbed. By
improving the digestion in the
foregut, and balancing the digestive
load across the entire digestive
tract, the animal is able to absorb
more energy, vitamins and minerals
from Chaffhaye.
With Chaffhaye, livestock owners
now have an alternative to the
problems associated with low quality
and inconsistent hay. Chaffhaye was
specifically developed to overcome
the challenges associated with dry
forages, and is the safest and most
natural way to maximize the health
and performance of livestock. When
used as a complete hay replacement,
animals will demonstrate a marked
improvement in their digestion,
immunity, growth and performance.
Chaffhaye is the solution for
delivering the greatest benefit to
animals that require the most from
their forage. |

superior nutrition

Chaffhaye™ alfalfa
is cut at its nutritional peak when
the leafiness of the crop relative
to the stem matter is highest.
Then, when the moisture content of
the alfalfa drops to 50%,
the alfalfa is collected from the
field, ensuring that virtually all
of the highly nutritious leaves of
the plant are captured. Once
harvested, the product is tightly
sealed in our proprietary
packaging that induces a natural
curing & fermentation process. The
fermentation process promotes the
favorable growth of natural yeast
and microorganisms, further
maximizing the palatability (intake)
and digestibility of the product.
This unique process ensures that
every bag of Chaffhaye™ attains a
top feed grading of Supreme Dairy
quality. Independent laboratory
tests indicate that Chaffhaye's
Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid
Detergent Fiber (ADF), Dry
Digestible Matter (DDM) and Relative
Feed Value (RFV) all exceed the
minimum requirements for Supreme
Dairy quality.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Chaffhaye is a 100% hay
replacement, as it is a
premier source of high quality
fiber.
Feed 1.5
lbs of Chaffhaye for every 100
pounds of animal body weight per
day. For smaller livestock breeds
such as goats, sheep and deer, feed
2 to 2.5 lbs of Chaffhaye for every
100 lbs of animal body weight daily.
Feed at regular times - at least
twice daily - according to the
recommended amount. After observing
the animal for a period of time, you
may want to increase or decrease by
up to 10% to obtain desired overall
body condition and appearance.
Important Considerations
* Implement feed changes over
a 7 to 14 day period.
* Store in a place free of
vermin.
* Provide plenty of fresh, clean
water at all times
* Split the recommended level
into two or more feedings per day

allowing farmers to develop the
healthiest calves and goats at the
most economical cost. With regard
to rapid rumen development of
growing and lactating calves and
goats, Chaffhaye stands out for its
naturally high protein levels, ease
of digestibility and unparallel
palatability.
What should Calf, Goat and Sheep
Owners expect from feeding Chaffhaye?
Calf Operations:
- Consistent, premium grade

that stimulate micro flora
culture development and optimal
digestion and rumen development
- Rapid weaning of calves that
replaces expensive milk
substitutes and grain feeds
- Rapid weight gain
- Protective packaging allows
storage at the point-of-feeding
Goat & Sheep Operations:
- Consistent, premium grade
alfalfa
- High protein and digestible
